This website is dedicated to those who are ill from the tragic events of 9/11, and the days and months following. The site is created to bring together the WTCSICK community along with their friends and family.

Since people have become ill from the 9/11 aftermath, there has been a misconception that they are "taken care of" which is far from the truth. Many are struggling to pay medical bills, keep their jobs, and survive. The toll has not only been taken on them physically and mentally, but on their families as well.

In a world where we will never forget those who have sacrificed their lives: Gone, but not forgotten.

Today, we say: Forgotten, but not gone. Those ill from the World Trade Center have been forgotten. People are "tired" of reading the stories. People are "sick" of hearing about it. I saw one person comment on a news article saying, "This is old news. Move on."

Those who are suffering and their families can't move on when they're stuck with the horror show that has been left behind. This isn't old news. This is CURRENT news. This is FUTURE news. Those who are living the life are forever angry they were just a number. Those who have to watch their loved one suffer have to suffer as well.

We will never forget, but we will forever have hope and faith that one day the right thing will be done by the heroes of 9/11 who have fallen ill.
